How it works

A day in the log

The five kinds of record the app keeps and how to use each one.

Temperature readings

Take each unit's reading as often as its setting asks (twice a day by default): at opening and in the afternoon, for example.

A fridge holds food at 4 °C ± 2 °C, so 6 °C at most; hot holding keeps food above 60 °C (Resolución 2674 de 2013, art. 18). The freezer's −18 °C is the app's setting.

When a reading is out of range, write what was done straight away. Take another reading afterwards to show the unit is back in range.

Sanitising boards

Pest control, water and training

Record each pest control service, water tank cleaning, waste review and training session with its date. The app reminds you when the next is due, using the months you set.

The written procedures of the sanitation plan, the drinking water supply records and the staff's medical certificates stay with the restaurant; the app does not keep health data.
